The quiet kind of beautiful. Some things don’t announce themselves. They just settle in — softening a sofa, grounding a bed, making a room feel like it exhaled. That’s the Batsi pillow cover by Libeco.

Woven in a structured check pattern — interlocking horizontal and vertical bands that form a plaid-like grid — the Batsi has a geometry that is both intentional and effortless. The palette lands gently in earth-tone territory: grounded neutrals that shift subtly depending on the light. Morning sun pulls out the warmth balanced, revealing stripes of cooler stony undertones. The warp and weft threads are woven in alternating tones, so the check reads differently from different angles — not a printed pattern, but a structural one. Built into every thread.

The fabric is 100% Belgian linen from Libeco’s fifth-generation family mill in Meulebeke, Belgium. The weave is dense and structural. It holds its shape on a sofa, keeps its texture through dozens of washes, and grows more supple over time. 

The Batsi carries the Belgian Linen™ label — held by only six weavers worldwide — along with Masters of Linen® certification and OEKO-TEX® approval. What those three together mean: full European traceability from field to finished fabric, tested clean of 100+ harmful substances.
